Review

Assessed as a distinct stack from the folded preparation, over an objection from the submitting party that has now been formally logged twice. The objection is that the two are the same stack scored under different conditions. The committee position is that the fruit is not in the batter, therefore the batter is a plain stack and the fruit is a garnish, therefore this is a different artifact. That position determines the level and is not revisited in this review.

Observed behaviour is stable and modest. Structure is good, because nothing has been folded into it. Absorbency is low, because the berries sit above the crumb and contribute nothing to it. The stack does exactly what its construction implies it will do, and it does so reliably.

The concrete detail is the fourth berry. On the reviewed plate the berries were placed in a ring of six, and the fourth rolled off the stack before the first cut. This is representative rather than incidental. Placed fruit does not stay placed.

Growth area: the stack has not attempted to influence its own classification. At P2 that is expected. At P3 it would not be. Producing evidence for the classification dispute is the clearest available path to demonstrating scope beyond the plate.

For 2026-Q4 we expect flat scores and an artifact submitted to the leveling committee.
