Review

Absorbency is the highest in the cohort and has been since the stack was first reviewed. Syrup is drawn into the crumb rather than pooling on the surface, and the fruit contributes to that rather than working against it.

Structural integrity remains the constraint, and the mechanism is well understood. Fruit is folded through the batter before the pour, so each berry becomes a point of failure under the fork. In the reviewed sitting the top pancake separated along a line running between two berries at the second cut. This is the third consecutive quarter that failure mode has been recorded.

Growth area: the stack is aware of the constraint and has not addressed it. Tossing the fruit in flour before folding is a known mitigation and has not been attempted. We assess this as unaddressed rather than unaddressable, which is the distinction that keeps the score at 2.3 rather than lower.

The classification question raised by the leveling committee, whether folded and placed blueberry preparations constitute one stack or two, remains open and is tracked separately. This review assesses the folded preparation only.

For 2026-Q4 we expect a documented attempt at the flour mitigation and a structural integrity score above 3.0. Absorbency is not in question and does not need further evidence.

Calibration note. Composite has risen for two consecutive quarters while structural integrity has fallen. Both statements are accurate.

Dimension breakdown, 2026-Q3
